    Postman Pat with wings….Biggles without the dog-fights. Put simply, unless the workings of 4-cylinder inverted engines and the spacing of the lower fuselage longerons excite, this one is strictly for the Engineers and Mechanics.

    Lyrical and poetic account of flight when the skies were completely empty of other planes: magical and memorable account of flying over half-empty lands as dusk falls and a storm approaches. The thin and rather unexciting storyline fades into oblivion in comparison.
